Promoting Cycling in Canada Bay
BayBUG was formed to promote the use of bicycles for transport and recreation, as a means to improve quality of life and protect our environment.
Riding
- We organise rides from Concord & Concord West:
- Weekend rides catering for various levels, with a duration of 1-3 hours; longer rides are usually run once a month at the end of the month
Activities
Our Activities include working with local councils, the RTA and other bodies that provide for cyclists in and around Canada Bay, to improve and create safe cycling routes.
Membership is open to anyone who is interested in furthering the group's objectives.
Where we operate
Our advocacy work is concentrated in the City of Canada Bay council area which spans the suburbs of: Rhodes, Liberty Grove, Concord West, North Strathfield, Concord, Mortlake, Breakfast Point, Cabarita, Canada Bay, Five Dock, Rodd Point, Wareemba, Russell Lea, Abbotsford, Chiswick, Drummoyne.

July 2011 - BayBUG celebrates 10 years
BayBUG's 10th Birthday was celebrated in a Concord restaurant on Friday 22nd July. Some of the founding members and others who have joined us over the years, reflected on the advocacy achievements and fond ride memories. The yummy cake was courtesy of Marianne.
