Many BayBUG members ride to work on a regular basis. If you want to ride to work but feel a little bit unsure about it, you may want to consider contacting the people below. They can advise you on the best routes, bikes, clothing and equipment, end of trip facilities.

Concord West to West Pennant Hills
When A couple of days per week, most weeks
Route Starts at Concord West then via Rhodes, West Ryde Dennistone and Eastwood paralleling the train line, then across country hugging the ridge lines but avoiding main roads to Thomson's Corner and Cumberland State Forrest.

Mortlake to Darling Harbour & City South
When By arrangement. Departs 7:45am weekdays
Route Start around 7:45 at Mortlake, can pick up at Concord (near Massey Park 7:50ish) at Canada Bay 7:55ish or at Five Dock - Barnstaple Rd 8ish

Concord - Parramatta
When By arrangement. Most weekdays. Departure time may vary to accommodate the rider. Typically from 7am to 8:30am -available earlier on some days.
Route Concord, Olympic Park, dedicated cycleway parallel to (but nowhere near the) M4, cycle facilities on back streets into Parramatta.

Contact: Stelio Pappas, 0431 814 917 before 9pm the day before. Prepared to meet beginners from most parts of Concord, Concord West, Rhodes,Olympic Park, Newington, Silverwater, or anywhere along the way to Parramatta.
Concord to Eastwood
When By arrangement. Though not strictly a 'bike bus' it does run most weeks Monday to Friday.
Route Concord: Correys Ave/Concord Rd. 8:00am; Concord West railway station: Queen St 8:05am
Rhodes: Walker St, Rhodes railway station (Western Side) 8:10am; Meadowbank: Victoria Rd/Hermatige Rd. 8:20am
Denistone: Railway station 8:30am; Eastwood: Railway station (Eastern Side) 8:40am
There is an option to continue along Vimiera Rd Marsfield.

Erskineville to Rhodes
When Pretty much every day (rain, hail or shine)
Route Starts: Erskineville Rd, Erskineville 7:10am; Stanmore station (about 7:15'ish); Hawthorn Canal (7:25'ish); then through Five Dock, Haberfield, Canada Bay, Concord and then to Rhodes (7:55'ish)
