Important information for participants of all BayBug rides . You will only be allowed to ride with us if: * You wear a helmet whilst riding. * Your bike is road worthy. * You obey the road rules. Remember that neither Baybug or its ride leader can guarantee that the conditions for the ride be absolutely safe. Roads and bike paths can have many hazards that cannot be foreseen. So ride defensively, smoothly and have consideration for other road and bike path users. Not compulsory but worth carrying are: Pump, Spare tube and/or tube repair kit, basic tool kit. Don't expect anyone else on the ride to have the parts or the inclination to fix your bike should it break down. Also consider the weather and wear appropriate clothing to make your ride safe and comfortable. Use sun protection, i.e. sun glasses, sun cream and long sleeves. Carry water if the ride is of any length. Half a litre per half hour is a good rule. More in summer. Dehydration can sneak up on you when you least expect it! ******************************************************************************************** Trip 1.
